Wedding Invitation Inserts and Wording Suggestions
Brides and grooms often like to include their wedding registry in their invitation to guests. There are two main ways that you can do this - either using inserts, or directly as part of the wording on the invitation cards.
Inserts
If you would like to include an insert in your invitation, you can use the following wedding registry insert template. Simply download the PDF file, print and separate the inserts. You can then include an insert with each invitation. Note that there are 9 inserts per page on the template.
It is often suggested that it is best to put the insert behind the invitation, in the envelope, so that it is the last thing that your guest sees when they open your letter.
Invitation Wording
Another good way to tell guests about your registry is to mention it towards the end of your invitation. Here's some suggestions for what to say:
- "Many of our friends and family have asked us for gift suggestions, as we already have many of the items we need for our new life together. We have placed some gift suggestions at yourweddingpresents.com"
- "If you would like to spoil us with a gift, we have some suggestions at yourweddingpresents.com"
- "Please find our wedding registry at yourweddingpresents.com"
